Troubleshooting for Radar Level Transmitter

        Used by microwave pulse measurement method, radar level transmitter is installed all kinds of metal and non-metal vessel or pipe to non-contact continuously measure the level of liquid, slurry and granule.

It is applicable for dust, temperature, pressure changes, inert gas and steam occasion, harmless to environment and human body.

It is featured as safe, clean, high precision, long service life, reliable, easy to install and maintenance and convenient reading. It is without any movable parts with a little maintenance.

However there is inevitable failure during usage, we will conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot in the followings:

1. If liquid level causes warning during range of application,

A. it will be declined lower than safety distance and then waning will be immediately disappear.

B. In case of warning during original empty debugging tank,  it will be eliminated by  interference suppression.

2. In case of any disturbance echo in the vessel

A. Check if the level meter is installed correctly to eliminate the installation disturbance.

B. It may be eliminated to fix the target to eliminate.

3. If input current always indicates as 4mA without any false warning, it should check if input is 0.

4. If level meter outfit is clogged, indicating full tank, the parameter setup should be compared. If parameters is determined to be correct, it will conduct empty tank to solve.

  If measuring range is calculated from the point that beam touches tank bottom, however in a particular case, tank bottom is in concave shape or cone shape, it can not be measured when level is lower than this point.
