Titanium tetrachloride is a colorless liquid with high density. When heated or exposed to water, it releases heat and emits toxic and corrosive fumes. It is highly corrosive. Impure samples are often yellow or reddish-brown. Titanium tetrachloride is an important intermediate in the production of titanium metal and its compounds. At room temperature, titanium tetrachloride is a colorless liquid and fumes in the air, producing a mixture of solid titanium dioxide and droplets of hydrochloric acid.

Facing the complex structure and severe working conditions of the tank equipment, our technicians decided to use 80GHz frequency modulation after communicating with users. Description of parameters and working conditions

In this working condition, the tank body has a compact structure, there is a stirring paddle in the tank, there is a slight negative pressure, the stirring speed is fast, the fluctuation range is large, the medium is highly volatile, easy to decompose in contact with water, and has strong corrosiveness.


1) Medium: titanium tetrachloride liquid, range: 0-1.7m;

2) Explosion-proof grade: flameproof ExdiaⅡCT6Gb;

3) Sealing/process temperature: Viton(-40-150)℃;

4) Process connection/material: flange DN100, DN150/stainless steel 304;

5) Electronic unit: (4-20) mA/24V DC/HART two-wire system;


The frequency at which the DCRD1000B works has the electromagnetic characteristics of the terahertz band, which makes it have characteristics that other measurement radar products do not have. Measurement stability and anti-interference ability in the environment, with extremely small antenna beam angle and strong adaptive automatic gain function, coupled with the application of FMCW technology, it has the following characteristics:
